Service Level Agreements

Dedicated access and backbone availability SLA*

100% availability guaranteed for customers with Enhanced Broadband Metropolitan-area SONET Network (BMAN) access and 99.9% availability for customers without enhanced BMAN ports or with traditional access.

Sprint provides up to 100% port charge credit to a customer if service is unavailable. On outages of an hour or less, depending on access type, the customer receives a 3-day, prorated monthly port charge credit. On outages over an hour, the customer receives an additional day credit for each hour the outage persists up to 100% of the monthly port charge.

Backbone delay SLA*

Sprint guarantees their monthly average backbone delays as detailed in the chart above or we will credit you with 3 days of monthly port charge.

Backbone packet loss SLA*

Sprint guarantees a monthly average packet loss of less than 0.3% on our backbone or we will credit you 3 days of monthly port charge.

Installation SLA*

Sprint understands your need for timely installation. Sprint has installation SLAs for all Dedicated IP ports (fractional T1 to OC-48), with a credit up to 150% of the actual cost of installation, depending on port speed, if installation intervals are not met.

***"AV Interval" means the actual number of days between Sprint placing the order for the port local access with the AV and Sprint's acceptance of the port local access from the AV.
