SprintLink Packet Private Line™

Private lines come in only a few fixed speeds, often forcing businesses to purchase more bandwidth than they need. SprintLink Packet Private Line™ is the first carrier service that blends the simplicity, performance and security of traditional private lines with the flexibility and survivability of a Tier 1 IP backbone.

Using Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol, Version 3 (L2TPv3), authenticated tunnels securely "lock" traffic between customer ports, carrying your data traffic securely and reliably over SprintLink, the Sprint IP network. The solution is ideally suited for multinational companies seeking to lower their cost of ownership by tailoring bandwidth specific to their point-to-point connectivity requirements.

Benefits

  • Unprecedented bandwidth flexibility
Available with usage-based or flat-rate pricing over a wide range of circuit speeds.
  • Built-in redundancy
Diversity is inherent in the service because of its fully-redundant IP architecture.
  • Seamless migration to IP
Test the performance of IP between two sites before migrating to a broader IP VPN implementation.
  • Optimum security
Security equal to that found in traditional private networks.

SprintLink Packet Private Line Snapshot

A virtual private line solution that utilises tunnels to encapsulate traffic in IP for transmission across the Sprint IP backbone, SprintLink. Enabled through L2TPv3, it creates an authenticated point-to-point connection through which pckets traverse securely and privately over an IP core.
